History

Lila is from a family of cooks. She grew up in the kitchen, watching and participating in everything from baking cookies to stirring veggies, and turning her nose up to the occasional split pea soup (now her favorite!).

Check out her heritage:

• Her grandfather, James C. Cruikshank, invented Dariy Queen's Brazier Burgers and Mr. Misty.
• Her great grandparents owned a bakery.
• Her grandmother Lila Cruikshank made everything from scratch; always home-made desserts and home-cooked meals.
• Her mother, Jean Willingham, was founder of the Willingham Manor cookie company.
• Her brother, Win Willingham, owns a food distribution center in Florida, while her other brother, Tom Willingham, III, owns SmartMouth Pizza, found in schools across the Southeast.
• Her father, Tom Willingham, II, was founder and owner of Interstate Distrutors, Inc, which specialized in distribution to fast food restaurants on the East Coast.
